Here at Findthetroublehorse we strive to service our clients like no other horse racing website on the net. It's the solemn belief of our owner/founder (Mr Joseph J Tuttle), that only through videotape analysis can any horseplayer truly prosper. We specialize in analyzing thoroughbred racing, but we also provide our service to those individuals that love harness racing as well.

What we offer....

We allow our clients to dictate their own terms of service. Essentially, we are like "scouts", for you, the prospective client. You get to determine which tracks that are "scouted" for you (a maximum of three). Then, we send to you via email, any or all "troubled trip" horses from each of your own specified racetracks. This process is done on a daily basis in which you receive the following.....

A. The name of the horse in question, along with the race/class he or she was involved in.

B. We also provide a detailed account of the actual "trouble" that said horse was a part of.

C. Lastly, we send our clients "reminder emails" (on the morning of), to insure that any "trouble horse" does not slip through your proverbial fingers, in that horse's next start.

Mr Tuttle has also recently written a book called......"The Ultimate Guide To Handicapping The Horses". This very succinct 70-page book will undoubtedly lead you down a path of winning, never before seen in your career as a horseplayer.

The aforementioned book can be purchased either through this website, Amazon.com, or Lulu.com. The price is a mere $13.95 for the paperback version, or $6.95 for the downloadable version, exclusively through Lulu.com.

More insights from the book....(about what we can offer You)

I recently wagered on a horse named Caressive (on Thanksgiving Day 2007 in Hollywood Park's second race), in which this horse had a Beyer number of only (59).

It was the 6th worst Beyer number (from all of the competitor's last start), of an eight-horse field. A totally impossible horse to play, if you are a "Beyer Guy"!

Besides the fact that I knew the horse was better than the number given, and I will expound upon that in a minute, I also knew that the "comment line" given was highly inaccurate. So, after scoping things out from the night before, I was salivating to say the least! That horse did indeed go on to win, and paid a hefty $15.00 for every two wagered. I personally played her as a "key" (in exotic wagers), and I wagered $200.00 on her to win. The exotic wager was that day's early pick-4 (which I did go on to hit), and it paid $1,478.00. The two hundred dollar win bet yielded a profit of another $1,300.00.

Now, I just mentioned that another reason why I was so high on that horse was due to the comment line being "highly inaccurate". I will elaborate more on that in the next chapter, in the section entitled "Determining Value". But for now, let me explain just how I knew that the number (59 Beyer Speed Figure), given to that particular horse, was not accurate.

As I've mentioned already in great detail, the first thing I do in handicapping any race, is to look-up the video replay of each horse's last start. In said start of "Caressive" (1st race on October 25th @ Keeneland), she was almost definitely going to win, had she not been "checked hard" in between two rivals, with about 100 yards to go.

Now, the official Racing Form version in the "comment line" read as follows: "4-5 wide, flattened out".

Don't believe it.....check it out?!

It's only through this kind of diligent videotape analysis that one might find that "Diamond in the Ruff"! The anecdote above is a shining example of just how necessary our job is for the extreme horseplayer.

Signed,
Joseph J Tuttle
